Shiny Shiny Art – Papercuts by Jody Curtis

Shiny Shiny Art

Jody cuts all her pieces by hand with scalpels and then adds colour using a variety of paint techniques placed behind the main piece. This allows for some quite striking effects even when they are not back lit. Her pieces can be found at a number of craft fairs and independent craft shops around the north east of Scotland, both framed and back lit as well as unframed. She also runs workshops from time to time to teach the techniques she uses so you too could learn how to produce interesting paper cut artworks such as these.

Find her work on Facebook here –

She also has pieces on display at

The Chocolate Bar, Ellon

Geek Bothy, Kemnay

and at a variety of Craft Fairs.
